The Business Associations, AEBB – Associação Empresarial da Beira Baixa, NERGA (Guarda), AIRV (Viseu), NERBA (Bragança) and NERVIR (Vila Real), held on 27th July 2021, at 10 am, in a webinar format, the Presentation Session of the project Terras Altas de Portugal 2.0.
The session was moderated by journalist Patrícia Matos and had the participation of the presidents of the promoting business associations – José Magalhães (President of NERVIR), Ana Palmeira de Oliveira (President of AEBB), João Cotta (President of AIRV), Helder Teixeira (President of NERBA) and Orlando Faísca (President of NERGA) – and was closed by Dra. Rita Araújo – Member of the Board of Directors of AICEP.
The project TERRAS ALTAS DE PORTUGAL 2.0 – International Valorization of the Agri-Food Sector of Terras Altas de Portugal, aims to support companies through the development of a support program for Internationalization.
The project is aimed at companies in the agri-food sector, with a special focus on the following sectors: wine, olive oil, meat (meat and enchidos – traditional Portuguese sausages), fruit and vegetables, cheese and wild resources (honey, mushrooms, etc.), headquartered in NUT Douro, Terras de Trás-os-Montes, Beiras and Serra da Estrela, Beira Baixa, Médio Tejo and Viseu Dão Lafões, and that intend to internationalize their activity in the markets of Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium.
The main activities of the project are, among others, the development of a platform to support the internationalization of SMEs, the development of international prospecting actions, reconnaissance visits by international prospectors, participation in international fairs, international promotion actions and preparation of market guides.
